Over the course of the weekend, learn the ancient art of pit firing—where ceramics are fired in an open pit using both natural and human made materials to create rich, organic surface patterns. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you'll discover the techniques of this primitive firing method and leave with one-of-a-kind ceramics, a deeper appreciation for the process, and a connection to the natural world around you.

Memorial Weekend Retreat

May 23-25

This weekend experience blends nature, community, and hands-on creativity, featuring a series of textile-based workshops ranging from screen printing and natural dyeing to block printing and sun dyeing. Meals are centered around connection, with a standout four-course dinner by chef Amer, whose approach emphasizes seasonal ingredients and shared experiences, alongside more casual moments like a pizza party and campfire dinners. Guests can also enjoy morning yoga, a curated bar program, and a pondside 20 person sauna experience with SaunaGuus, creating a balance of activity and relaxation. With amenities like a hot tub, sauna and a thoughtfully paced schedule, the retreat is designed as an immersive, community-driven weekend in nature.

Lobster Club: Artists in Residence

Lobster Club: Artists in Residence invites a small group of artists to spend a week upstate at Camp Singers, culminating in a group exhibition on New York City’s Lower East Side, opening June 10th. Open to all disciplines—painters, musicians, sculptors, writers, and beyond—the residency offers a space for creative exploration, collaboration, and shared experience. Previous residents include Michael McGregor, Lane Walkup, and Conor Murgatroyd.

September 18-20

a New York–based weekend reading retreat and literary community centered around the idea of experiencing a book together from start to finish. Small groups gather—often upstate—to read a novel aloud collectively, mix in solo reading time, and come back together for discussion, creating a shared, immersive experience. The retreats also incorporate chef-driven meals inspired by the book, a strong emphasis on local partnerships, and a community-driven ethos that celebrates inclusivity, creativity, and connection beyond traditional norms.

Line Dance Camp

September 25-27

We're back again for another early autumn camping experience filled with line dancing, community, and chef-prepared meals all weekend long. September 25th-27th, join us for a weekend of line dancing in the barn, shared moments around camp, and tent camping under the autumn stars. No experience necessary! Lessons will be available for all levels.
