A Halloween party at Camp!
Join us at Camp Singers for an afternoon of apple bobbing, wood splitting, pumpkin carving, crafts, hiking, sauna, and more.
Matthew Yee and friends will be cooking dinner and food for the gathering. After dark, we’ll head into the barn for a party with music programming by All Ears and fire pits outside.
Come spend the day, dance into the night, and stay over if you’d like. Book a room or bring a tent.
Costumes encouraged. Bring your warm layers, and be ready to take them off as we dance to warm up!

Chef - Matthew Yee
Matthew Yee is a New York City chef and a dear friend of Treetop. Raised in a Chinese and Jewish household, he explores the intersection of these culinary traditions through Queenies, where he’s developing his own style, playfully known as “Chewish Cuisine.” His background in food science and farming brings curiosity and care to everything he cooks.
We first met Matthew when he joined an event as sous chef alongside our friend Char, and he’s been one of Treetop’s best buddies ever since. Always ready to roll with the punches—and always with a smile—he’s someone we love having at camp. He also absolutely crushes it on the wok. Ask anyone who tried his fried shrimp on Labor Day; they’re probably still talking about it.
The Music
We all know All Ears… I mean, if you don’t, you probably had your ears pointed in the wrong direction this year. Anyhow, they put together one of the greatest weekends of many people’s lives at Camp Singers this year, so we thought, who better to to ask to put together a lineup of exciting DJs for us to rock out with our socks out until the sun comes up?
Camp Singers is designed as a place to gather, with warm, communal spaces that invite connection and ease. The wood-paneled dining room, with its pitched ceilings and cabin-like feel, overlooks the surrounding woods, while a stocked country kitchen opens into a fireside lounge—perfect for slow mornings, long conversations, or curling up with a book. The main gathering space is expansive and lively, centered around a long communal table for shared meals and games, with an electric organ for sing-alongs and a separate seating area to unwind.
Set across 88 acres of open pastures, forested trails, and a winding creek, the property encourages both exploration and stillness. Guests can relax in a cedar hot tub tucked inside a restored maple syrup hut, take a dip in the spring-fed pond, or paddle out by rowboat or canoe. A fully stocked arts and crafts barn offers space for creativity and quiet making, while a wood-fired sauna by the pond provides a place to reset. In the summer months, guests also have access to the Camp Singers Pool Club, a private off-site oasis just 10 minutes away.
