October 10th - 12th with Craft Society
A long, golden weekend at Camp Singers, unfolds like a gentle rhythm of craft, nature, and celebration. Guests arrive Saturday afternoon to settle in, meet one another, and ease into camp life with a playful kite-making workshop before dinner, followed by a cozy bonfire under the stars. Saturday drifts between hands-on craft sessions—basket weaving, bundle dyeing—and slow, sun-soaked moments spent swimming, hiking, or unwinding in the sauna, By Sunday, the pace softens into a shared brunch, a final craft of corn dollies and wheat weaving, and a warm closing circle—sending everyone off feeling a little more grounded, a little more inspired, and already nostalgic for camp.
What to Expect
Indigo Bath Submerge fabric into a living vat of Japanese indigo and watch it emerge in rich, layered shades of blue. You'll explore the ancient art of shibori — folding, binding, and resisting cloth to create patterns that are uniquely your own. No two pieces are ever the same.
Block Printing Carve your mark into relief blocks and pull prints that are entirely handmade. We'll walk through carving techniques, color mixing, and transfer methods, offering inspiration photos to work from — or bring your own design. Leave with finished blocks and the option to print directly onto clothing.
Kite Making Drawing from age-old traditions across Asia, we'll build lightweight, sculptural kites from mulberry paper and bamboo dowels. Part craft, part meditation — these are objects made to be both beautiful and airborne. Once finished, we'll take them out to the field and fly them together on camp grounds.
Cyanotype Harness the power of sunlight to make prints without a camera. Using UV-reactive chemistry, you'll arrange ferns, botanicals, or any flat object onto treated paper and let the sun do the printing. The result is a deep, luminous blue impression of the world around you.
Freshly Made meals

The Artists
Isabelle and Noa met on a trampoline in April of 2024. They got to know each other between breathless jumps.
After exchanging numbers, they met for dinner and had pancakes and Shirley temples and talked about everything under the sun. Isabelle was a schoolteacher and was stuck creatively. Noa had just left her job and desired to cultivate community.
Craft Society was born that night.
Their first business meeting was held at an old school soda shop, because they take everything extremely seriously. They sipped milkshakes and took handwritten notes.
After spending a year and a half hosting folk and heritage craft workshops pop-up-style, they signed a lease and opened a brick in mortar in January 2026.

The location
Camp Singers is designed as a place to gather, with warm, communal spaces that invite connection and ease. The wood-paneled dining room, with its pitched ceilings and cabin-like feel, overlooks the surrounding woods, while a stocked country kitchen opens into a fireside lounge—perfect for slow mornings, long conversations, or curling up with a book. The main gathering space is expansive and lively, centered around a long communal table for shared meals and games, with an electric organ for sing-alongs and a separate seating area to unwind.
Set across 88 acres of open pastures, forested trails, and a winding creek, the property encourages both exploration and stillness. Guests can relax in a cedar hot tub tucked inside a restored maple syrup hut, take a dip in the spring-fed pond, or paddle out by rowboat or canoe. A fully stocked arts and crafts barn offers space for creativity and quiet making, while a wood-fired sauna by the pond provides a place to reset. In the summer months, guests also have access to the Camp Singers Pool Club, a private off-site oasis just 10 minutes away.
